A full-time position is now available for a motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer.
n
Working as part of a supportive and friendly finance team, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Processing daily customer receipts and completing account reconciliations
n
Managing customer accounts and ensuring account information remains accurate and up to date
n
Issuing monthly customer statements
n
Managing new customer account applications in accordance with the company's credit policies and procedures
n
Providing customers with copies of invoices and statements when requested
n
Managing the Accounts Receivable inbox and maintaining accurate records
n
Following up overdue accounts and working with customers to resolve outstanding balances
n
Negotiating payment arrangements where required
n
Placing accounts on hold and assisting with changes to customer credit limits
n
Providing monthly reports on overdue accounts and payment concerns
n
Completing daily reconciliations for kiosk banking and Square
n
Assisting with month-end processes and providing supporting documentation to auditors
n
Providing backup support for Accounts Payable and fortnightly payroll
n




Supporting the Finance and Leadership teams with other duties as required
n

To be successful in the role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
n
n
Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control, preferably within a high-volume environment
n
A high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
n
Strong account reconciliation, data entry and account-management skills
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Confident phone manner with strong active-listening skills
n
Ability to follow up outstanding accounts professionally and achieve results
n
Strong organisational and time-management skills
n
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
n
Confidence using accounting systems and Microsoft Office
n
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
n
At least three years of accounting-related experience is highly desirable
n
An accounting qualification would be viewed favourably but is not essential
n
n
