We are currently looking for a Workplace Health &
Safety/Rehabilitation
Officer to join our Head Office team, reporting to the WHS Manager.
n
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, working alongside operations, and playing a key role in strengthening safety culture across a diverse, fast-paced business.
n
About the Role
n
This is not a desk-based compliance role.
n
You'll be working closely with leaders, supervisors and teams across manufacturing, warehousing and installation environments to:
n
n
Drive practical safety improvements
n
Support leaders to take ownership of safety
n
Contribute to the rollout of our national WHS strategy
n
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Partner with leaders to build and embed a solid, positive safety culture
n




Conduct incident investigations and identify practical, effective controls
n
Review and improve Safe Work Procedures to ensure they reflect real work practices
n
Support risk assessments, audits and site inspections
n
Assist with injury management and return to work processes
n
Monitor training and competency compliance
n
Support contractor management and consultation processes
n
Contribute to continuous improvement of WHS systems and practices
n
Occasional interstate travel may be required
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Experience in WHS within manufacturing, warehousing, construction or similar high-risk environments 4years+
n
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage frontline workers and leaders
n
Practical, solutions-focused approach to safety
n
Ability to build relationships and influence positive change
n
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
n
n
Qualifications:
n
n
Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (essential)
n
Return to Work Coordinator (desirable)
n
Fire Safety Advisor (desirable)
n
n
