Your New Role
n
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our Electrical Construction team.
n
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in securing new work and supporting the continued growth of the business through the preparation of accurate estimates, quotations, and tender submissions across electrical maintenance and project works.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Preparing cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions for electrical projects and maintenance contracts.
n
Conducting site visits and engaging directly with clients regarding upgrades, maintenance works, and new project opportunities.
n
Coordinating complex tender submissions and ensuring deadlines are met.
n
Reviewing plans, specifications, and technical documentation to complete detailed take-offs.
n
Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to secure competitive pricing.
n
Identifying risks, opportunities, and value-add solutions throughout the estimating process.
n
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders to support future growth opportunities.

What You'll Need to Succeed
n
n
Previous experience in electrical estimating, project delivery, maintenance,



construction, or building services.
n
Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards, including AS**** and AS****.
n
Sound understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation practices.
n
Proven ability to prepare accurate quotations and estimates across projects of varying size and complexity.
n
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
n
