Job DescriptionMust Have Skills: 5+ years of experience in DNS operations/support, with at least 2–3 years at L3 level
Robust hands‐on experience with BIND (open‐source DNS)
Deep understanding of:
· DNS protocol internals
· Authoritative vs Recursive DNS
· TTL, caching behavior, and query resolution flow
Strong Linux/Unix system administration experience
Strong networking fundamentals:
· TCP/IP, UDP
· Latency and routing behavior
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Anycast DNS deployments
Exposure to other DNS software: Unbound, PowerDNS, Knot DNS
Automation and scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible)
Monitoring tools:
Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix
ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management experience)
