Team Leader - Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team

About the role
As the Team Leader of the Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team (MIRT), you will play a key leadership role in delivering specialist, recovery-oriented mental health services for people experiencing severe and enduring mental illness. Leading a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals and working in partnership with psychiatrists, consumers, families, carers, and community providers, you will drive the delivery of evidence-based assertive community treatment that supports people to achieve their recovery goals and live well in the community.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Lead service improvement and research initiatives to promote continuous quality improvements and the achievement of best practice standards.
Lead key service initiatives as directed by the Operations Director, MNMH-TPCH.
Provide clinical and operational leadership to MIRT, ensuring high-quality care and contributing to the development of innovative, evidence-based practices, procedures, and protocols that support the continuum of care and improve consumer outcomes.
Develop, deliver, and lead advanced clinical services based on valid and reliable evidence within MIRT in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards,



with a high degree of independence, to ensure consumer focused outcomes.
Facilitate and promote effective communication and engagement across the service, advocating for consumer, family, and carer identified needs and fostering collaborative partnerships with consumers, carers, community service providers, and Non-Government Organisations.
