Are you a customer-focused Service Advisor who enjoys being at the centre of a busy workshop operation?
Penske is looking for an organised and proactive Service Advisor to join our team in Kalgoorlie.
This is a excellent opportunity to combine your customer service, administration and mechanical knowledge in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you'll play a key role in coordinating workshop activity, keeping customers informed and ensuring jobs progress efficiently from initial booking through to completion.
About the Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and scheduling workshop bookings alongside the Service Superviso
Keeping customers updated on repair progress and expected completion times
Preparing accurate and timely customer quotations and following up on outstanding quotes
Providing administrative support to the Service Supervisor and workshop Technicians
Managing customer enquiries across the phone and front counter
Opening and closing jobs and maintaining job registers
Raising purchase orders and processing payments
Monitoring Work in Progress (WIP) and workshop bookings
Building robust, ongoing relationships with customers
Working with the workshop team to resolve customer queries and service issues
Identifying opportunities to maximise parts and service sales through upselling and cross-selling
Ensuring service documentation, approvals and processes meet company requirements.
About You
We're looking for someone who brings strong customer service skills alongside an understanding of a mechanical, parts or service environment.
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Service Administrator,



Service Coordinator or similar position
Experience within a mechanical, automotive, heavy vehicle, mining equipment or related service environment
Mechanical or parts knowledge, with trade or technical experience highly regarded
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities
Confidence working with technical catalogues, bulletins and support information
Competent Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel
A proactive, professional and customer-first approach
The ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team.
