Working at our Smithfield Beverage Can manufacturing plant, you'll learn from experienced tradespeople while developing practical skills across electrical maintenance, fault finding and automated manufacturing systems.
n
As an Electrical Apprentice, you'll gain valuable exposure to a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment and work with the equipment and technology that keeps a large-scale production facility running safely and efficiently. This is a day-shift prospect, working from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

What you will learn:

Complete a 4-year Electrical Apprenticeship in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) manufacturing environment.
n
Gain hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs across high-speed production equipment.
n
Develop practical skills working with PLCs, automation,



motors, sensors, control systems, and other electrical equipment.
n
Work alongside experienced tradespeople while completing your nationally recognised trade qualifications.
n
Gain exposure to a modern manufacturing facility that produces more than 3 million beverage cans every day.
n
Graduate as a qualified Electrician with practical experience in large-scale manufacturing and strong career pathways within the business.

Completed Year10 and above.
