catering team on a casual basis.About the RoleAs a Cook, you will play an significant role in enhancing the
lives of our residents by preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that meet
their dietary and cultural needs.Working closely with the Catering Manager, Dietician and
broader care team, you will be responsible for meal preparation and cooking in
line with approved menus, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring an
exceptional dining experience for residents.
You will also support kitchen
operations, stock control and quality improvement initiatives, while assisting
with the supervision of catering staff when required.About YouYou are passionate about food, hospitality and providing a
positive dining experience for older Australians.To be successful in this role, you will have:Minimum
12 months' experience working in a commercial kitchen environmentPrevious
experience supervising or leading staffKnowledge
of food safety standards, HACCP requirements and food handling practicesExperience
working within a team-focused environment with strong communication and
interpersonal skillsAbility
to maintain high standards of meal quality, presentation and nutritional
careComputer
literacy with the ability to complete ordering and invoice processesAbility
to work collaboratively within a team while also working independentlyFood
