In alignment with Wabtec's Vision, Mission, and Values, safely and efficiently complete all assigned warehouse and stores tasks, contributing to the overall achievement of the Kewdale Operations' business goals and objectives.
What will your typical day look like?
Comply with EHS & Quality requirements in accordance with Wabtec policies and proceduresConduct material movements, forklift operations, goods receipting, and coordinate with logistics providers and/or suppliers for the collection and despatch of materials in accordance with relevant work instructions, stores processes, EHS and quality standardsConduct stock takes and/or cycle countsMaintain inventory accuracy and material traceability through the effective execution of stores processes and system transactions Ensure all relevant documentation and data entry associated with stores and warehouse tasks and processes are completed accurately and in fullEscalate issues and provide recommendations to the site-based leadership team regarding any EHS, quality, technical and continuous improvement mattersSupport other Stores team members with relevant processes, procedures, and technical knowledge to support the achievement of Operations team goalsActively participate in team meetings, training and development activitiesEnsure the work environment, plant, tooling, and equipment are maintained to a secure, clean,



and orderly condition at all timesEnsure all plant, tooling and equipment have prestart checks and/or preventive maintenance carried out prior to use in accordance with relevant requirementsComply with and support continuous improvement, lean and 5S initiativesMaintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customersTake ownership of responsibilities and actively contribute towards the achievement of business performance goals, delivery timeframes and customer satisfactionBe willing to work reasonable additional hours as required to support business needsDomestic or international travel may be requiredPerform other related duties as reasonably required to support business operationsWhat do we want to know about you?
Relevant experience within a manufacturing or services warehousing environmentEffective organisational, time management, multi-tasking, and communication skillsStrong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systemsCurrent Driver Licence and Forklift LicenceDesirable ExperienceCurrently Hold/Willing to obtain - First Aid, Fire Warden, Overhead Gantry CraneAdditional InformationWhat could you accomplish in a place that puts People First?
