About the
role:
Are you passionate about making a
meaningful difference in the lives of children and families?
As a
Foster Care Intake Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in helping
children find safe, supportive and nurturing homes when they need
them most.
Working within a dedicated and caring
team, you'll connect children with suitable foster care placements,
build solid relationships with carers and key staekholders, and
contribute to positive outcomes for vulnerable children across our
community.
With a rostered on-call component, no two
days are the same, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a
fast-paced environment and enjoys making a real
impact.
What will a typical day look
like?
Support carers to
meet therapeutic needs - delivering individualised support to
carers based on assessment
Maintain placement
registers - achieving 100% comliance with licensing and
documentation standards
Collaborate with
stakeholders - building strong partnerships with Child Safety
and community agencies
Enrich lives -
contributing to events and activities that strength connections
for children and carers
Mandatory
Requirements:
Certificate IV
level or higher in Community Services (Child Protection) or
Mental Health with significant experience in a similar
field
Minimum 3 years
relevant experience

Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or
exemption)

Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption
