As we continue to invest in automation and technology across our processing operations, we're looking for an experienced Automation Electrician to join our Engineering team.This is a hands-on role where you'll use your technical skills to keep our automated systems running efficiently while helping drive continuous improvement across the site.Working as part of our Engineering team, you'll support the day-to-day operation of our automation systems across the plant.
You'll work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, IT and Safety teams to diagnose faults, minimise downtime and improve system performance.No two days are the same, so you'll need to be comfortable working across a range of equipment and control systems in a busy manufacturing environment.Responsibilities will include:Fault finding and troubleshooting PLC and electrical control systemsSupporting and maintaining Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ignition SCADADiagnosing and repairing complex automation and electrical faultsMaintaining instrumentation and control equipmentAssisting with automation upgrades and improvement projectsWorking with other departments to improve reliability and plant performance About youYou'll be a qualified Electrician with experience working in industrial automation or manufacturing and have a drive for innovation.To be successful you'll have:Current Queensland Electrical LicenceExperience with Allen-Bradley PLCsExperience using Ignition SCADAStrong PLC fault-finding and diagnostic skillsSound knowledge of industrial instrumentationGood problem-solving skills and the ability to work through technical issuesA practical, team-focused approach with a solid commitment to safety Why ACC?
