Position Summary: n
The prime purpose of this position is to provide pre-sales solutions support to the Australian and New Zealand market for critical Power infrastructure networks & projects with the application of Vertiv Power products where required supported with approved third-party products and services.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Qualifications in Electrical Power Engineering.
n
Experience with the design and applications of Power infrastructure solutions in particular Busway in mission critical environment.
n
Provide sales staff with technical assistance & support information on Busway & other Power solutions to assist with the sales activity
n
Review of RFQ documentation submitted by Sales - including technical specification requirements, electrical wiring schematics and floorplan layout drawings.
n
Preparation of quotations for Sales comprising of:
n
Formal offer complete with compliance statements, single line drawings and costing schedules
n
Bill of materials (BOM) itemizing products and service included in offer
n




Source quotes from third party product and services in support of offers
n
Reconcile purchase orders on successfully won jobs and complete a job entry of the order as per Vertiv process
n
Complete profitability analysis directed by Power Solutions Manager / Associate Director, PSA ANZ on costing offers
n
Management of products delivery and design for non-established products
n
Undertake product training as required as well as provide solution presentations as directed by management
n
Adhere to PSA procedures and practices
n
Completion of all work in a timely manner
n
Continuous Improvement: n
n
Develop or enhance current & existing pre-sales processes to improve overall efficiency as part of VOS initiative.
n
Provide feedback from lessons learned in won/lost bids or project reviews to improve future solution designs.
n

n
