Elite Portables is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team.
Applicants must:
Hold a recognised trade certificate
Have strong welding and fabrication skills
Read and work from drawings
Produce accurate, high-quality work
Be reliable and safety-focused

Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and weld structural steel components for portable and modular buildings.
Read and interpret workshop drawings, plans and specifications.
Measure, cut, drill, grind and assemble steel components accurately.
Perform MIG welding to the required quality and structural standards.
Inspect completed work and correct defects before production handover.
Operate welding, cutting and fabrication equipment safely.
Maintain tools, machinery and a clean, organised work area.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
Work efficiently with supervisors and other trades to meet production deadlines.
Assist with general workshop and manufacturing duties when required.
Skill & Experience
Hold a recognised trade certificate
Have robust welding and fabrication skills
