Campaspe Shire Council is seeking a passionate and driven Customer Service Officer to help deliver high-quality service to our community.
n
About the Role
n
The Customer Service Officer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
n
n
Deliver high-quality, timely, and qualified customer service across multiple channels, including face-to-face, phone, email, webchat, and SMS.
n
Respond to customer enquiries and service requests in accordance with Council's Customer Experience Strategy and Customer Service Charter.
n
Operate effectively in front desk, call centre, and service centre environments while undertaking associated administrative tasks.
n
Maintain accurate information flow and provide information and support to internal and external customers.
n
Promote and uphold Council's positive public image through all customer interactions.
n
Process customer transactions accurately, including payments, banking, reconciliations,



and services on behalf of external agencies such as VicRoads and Victoria Police.
n
Provide advice and assistance on Council services using Council systems, policies, and procedures.
n
Deliver basic library services where required within service centres.
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Certificate III in Business Administration (or related field), or relevant on-the-job experience.
n
Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office and customer database systems.
n
A valid Driver's Licence.
n
A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
n
Satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
n
