Location: Outdoor pools – located at Colbinabbin, Kyabram, Lockington, Rushworth, Stanhope and Tongala

Junior Lifeguard pay rate: $***** per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading)

Lifeguard pay rate: $***** per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading)

Campaspe Shire Council is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Lifeguards to join our outdoor pool team for the ******* summer season. As a Lifeguard, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, enjoyable and welcoming setting for our community. Whether you're an experienced Lifeguard or currently working towards your qualifications, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role
n
n
Supervise pool patrons and ensure a safe aquatic environment at all times.
n
Enforce facility rules and promote safe aquatic practices.
n
Respond effectively to emergencies, rescues, and first aid incidents, and complete incident reporting as required.
n
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the facility, including change rooms.
n
Identify and address potential safety hazards to minimise risks to patrons and staff.
n
Follow established safety procedures, training requirements,



and emergency action plans.
n
Provide excellent customer service to all facility users.
n

About You
n
n
Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or in the process of obtaining it).
n
Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003).
n
A valid Driver's Licence.
n
A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
n
Satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
n
Successful completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
n
