Experienced Nanny Wanted – 2–3 Days Per Week

We are a warm, loving family looking for an experienced, caring and reliable nanny to help care for our one-year-old child on a regular basis.
n
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and would love to become a trusted and valued part of our family's routine.
n
The role
n
We are looking for someone available 2–3 days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays. The hours can be discussed with the right candidate.
n
On most days, you will be caring for our one-year-old. On one of the days, there may be two one-year-old children to care for together, so we are looking for someone who is confident and experienced managing two young children at this age.
n
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
n
n
Providing warm, attentive and nurturing care
n
Following our child's established routine, including meals and naps
n
Planning and engaging in age-appropriate play and activities
n
Getting out for walks, playgrounds, classes or other local activities where appropriate
n
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
n
Cleaning up after meals and keeping the children's spaces organised
n
Children's laundry, including washing,



folding and putting clothes away
n
General tidying related to the children
n
Helping maintain a calm, happy and organised setting throughout the day
n

About you
n
We are looking for someone who is:
n
n
Experienced in caring for babies and toddlers
n
Warm, nurturing and genuinely enjoys being around young children
n
Confident caring for two one-year-olds at the same time
n
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
n
Proactive and able to use initiative throughout the day
n
Organised and happy to help with children-related household tasks
n
Patient, calm and attentive
n
Looking for a regular, ongoing position rather than occasional babysitting
n
Previous professional childcare/nanny experience
n
Current Working With Children Check
n
First Aid and CPR certification
n
Excellent, recent references
n
Non-smoker
n
n
A relevant childcare qualification and/or experience caring for multiple young children would be highly regarded.
n
