Fairy Meadow Family Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team. This is a part time position based in Fairy Meadow, NSW ****. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental practitioners in providing high-quality dental services. This position is fundamental to the smooth operation of our practice and directly contributes to ensuring our patients have a positive dental experience.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dental practitioners during patient treatments and procedures
n
Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols
n
Greeting patients, maintaining patient records and managing appointment scheduling
n
Taking radiographs (X-rays) as required and assisting with patient imaging
n
Providing chairside support during restorative, preventive and general dental procedures
n
Preparing treatment areas and ensuring all materials and equipment are readily available
n
Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe dental environment
n
Assisting with reception duties and administrative tasks as needed
n
Contributing to infection control and health and safety standards within the practice
n
