CV Services Group is offering an exciting prospect to join our Media & Signage team as a Sheet Metal Apprentice. You'll work full time at our Hendra facility while completing MEM***** – Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade.
n
This apprenticeship combines structured study with practical, hands-on experience. You'll be supported by experienced tradespeople as you develop valuable skills in sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing and signage production.
n
Previous industry experience is not required. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in building a long-term trade career.

EARN WHILE YOU LEARN

As part of the apprenticeship, you will:
n
n
Complete MEM***** – Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade
n
Receive paid, permanent full-time employment while completing your qualification
n
Gain practical experience in a busy fabrication and signage environment
n
Receive structured training, mentoring and ongoing support
n
Develop transferable skills to support your long-term trade career
n
Learn from experienced fabrication, signage and manufacturing professionals
n

WHAT YOU'LL BE LEARNING
n
Working alongside our Media & Signage team, you'll learn how to:
n
n
Measure, mark and prepare materials for fabrication
n
Cut, bend, fold, shape and assemble sheet metal components
n
Safely operate hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment
n
Read and interpret drawings,



measurements and job specifications
n
Assist with manufacturing signage frames, cabinets and related components
n
Complete fabrication and assembly work to required quality standards
n
Perform quality checks and identify defects
n
Maintain tools, equipment and a clean, organised work area
n
Follow workplace health and safety requirements
n
Work effectively as part of a busy production team
n
Take greater ownership of tasks as your skills and confidence develop
n
n
No two days will look the same, giving you exposure to different fabrication processes and plenty of opportunities to develop your practical skills.

ABOUT YOU
n
You don't need previous fabrication or industry experience to apply. What matters most is your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
n
A genuine interest in sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing
n
A positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
n
Valuable practical ability and attention to detail
n
The ability to follow instructions and work safely
n
A reliable and punctual approach to work
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
The confidence to ask questions and seek guidance
n
A willingness to complete both practical and theoretical training
n
A driver's licence and reliable transport—desirable but not essential,



as junior applicants are encouraged to apply
n
Working at Heights, EWP or Forklift tickets—advantageous but not required initially, as relevant training can be provided where required
n
n
This opportunity could be ideal for a recent school leaver, someone beginning their trade career or someone looking to move into sheet metal fabrication.
