AUHES is looking for a caring and experienced Disability Support Worker to support NDIS participants, particularly individuals living with Parkinson's Disease.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Provide personal care and daily living support
n
Assist with mobility and fall prevention
n
Support medication
prompting/administration
as per care plans
n
Assist with exercises and therapy activities
n
Support community access and appointments
n
Assist with meals and household tasks
n
Complete progress notes and report changes or concerns
n
Follow NDIS and AUHES policies and care plans
n
About you
n
Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability,



or Aged Care
n
Experience supporting clients with Parkinson's Disease – essential
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
First Aid & CPR
n
Good communication and a caring, person-centred approach
n
Driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred
n
Minimum 1 year experience working in disability and aged care
n
Experience with medication administration, manual handling, and behavioural management
n
