Roster: 7:7 (Local) or 14:14 (FIFO)

About the Role
n
Macmahon Underground is returning to New Zealand and seeking experienced Jumbo Operators to join the Snowy River Gold Mine Project near Reefton on New Zealand's South Island.
n
As part of this exciting opportunity, Macmahon will deliver underground development, production and backfill services from October ****.
n
We are looking for safety-focused operators with proven underground mining experience and strong capability operating underground development drill rigs.
n
Responsibilities




n
n
Operate Sandvik jumbo drill rig in a safe and efficient manner.
n
Read and understand development designs and operational memos to guide work activities.
n
Carry out underground development activities, including boring and installation of ground support.
n
Installation various types of ground support,including split sets, resin bolts and mesh.
n
Contribute to all stages of the mining cycle, maintaining productivity and minimising downtime.
n
Provide clear and effective communication.
n
Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values.

Help teammates, shareknowledgeand support a strong crew culture.

What You'll Bring
n
n
Minimum 2 years' experience operating the jumbo drill rigs.
n
Strong safety focus and ability to speak up.
n
A team mindset and reliable work ethic.
n
Commitment to contributing to a positive culture.
n
Valid Class 1 (unrestricted manual) New Zealand drivers licence with a Dangerous Goods (D) endorsement (essential).
n
First Aid Certificate (highly desired).
