The Opportunity
n
As a General Hand with Bishopp, you'll be part of the team responsible for keeping our billboard sites well maintained, safe, and presented to a high standard, while assisting with a range of practical tasks across the business.
n
You'll work alongside experienced team members, develop new skills and complete a variety of hands-on work. The role includes assisting with installations, site maintenance, changing billboard artwork and completing general maintenance tasks.
n

Your work will include:
n
n
Installing and changing large-format vinyl advertising skins on billboards
n
Working safely at heights, using a harness, and following required WHS safety procedures
n
Completing general billboard repairs and maintenance
n
Preparing tools, equipment, vehicles and materials for scheduled work
n
Ensuring billboard sites are left safe, tidy and presented to a high standard
n
Assisting our Build Team with construction, rebuild and installation work when required
n
Completing job information, photos and records accurately through our field management system
n
Availability to work overtime as required to meet business needs, this may mean an early start, late finish or weekend work
n
Opportunity to work away from home from time to time, with a living away from home allowance included
n

This is a physical, outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, staying active and following a clear process to get the job done properly.

What We're Looking For
n
To be successful in this role, you will need:
n
n
Full working rights in Australia
n
A current manual driver's licence
n
A Construction White Card
n
A current Working at Heights qualification, or willingness to obtain one
n
The physical capability to safely perform the inherent requirements of the role
n
Willingness and availability to travel for work when required
n
A strong approach to safety, teamwork, reliability and following procedures
n
n
Previous experience in labouring, construction, landscaping, maintenance or other outdoor work would be highly regarded. Attention to detail, reliability, a methodical approach and willingness to learn are equally important.
