Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate excavators for detailed excavation, bulk earthworks, demolition, and material handling
n
Conduct pre-start inspections and daily safety checks, including fluid levels, greasing, lubrication, and defect reporting
n
Work collaboratively with ground crews to deliver excavation, demolition, stockpiling,



and truck loading in line with WHS requirements
n
Assess work areas prior to commencement, identifying hazards, soil conditions, access constraints, and material placement zones
n
Ensure plant and equipment are operated safely, cleaned daily, securely stored, and maintained to company standards
n
Monitor truck loading to ensure compliance with weight requirements and verify dockets with drivers
n
Communicate effectively with supervisors and site managers, responding promptly to instructions and reporting issues
n
Maintain accurate daily records and site documentation as required
n

Essential Requirements
n
n
Valid Driver's Licence
n
White Card
n
Relevant excavator operator tickets/licences
n
Minimum 2+ years' experience operating excavators on civil and demolition projects within Australia
n
Solid understanding of WHS legislation and safe work practices
n
Ability to work independently when required
n
Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills
n
