About the Opportunity
William Clarke College is seeking an innovative and dynamic Primary Music Specialist to join our teaching team.
Primary Specialist Teachers are responsible for delivering quality teaching and learning experiences and targeted instruction for students in specialist areas across the Primary School that develop them as 'extraordinary learners', with a passion to serve others. Our specialist teachers undertake classes in their particular areas of expertise such as Music, Art, PDHPE, Science and Drama across all classes from Preparatory to Year 6.
You will build learning relationships with students and display a passion for Primary education in all areas, and particularly in Music. You will challenge students to make a Christian difference in the world and encourage and equip them to excel both academically and in the range of co-curricular activities the College offers.
This is a permanent,



full-time position
and the College is willing to discuss a part-time (0.8) teaching load with the right applicant.
About You
NESA Accredited Teacher with In-depth knowledge of the K-6 Syllabus, particularly Music
Demonstrated passion for child-centred learning, and proven ability to effectively engage students, together with excellent classroom management skills
Experience teaching Primary Music and a passion for musical education
Flexible, adaptable and able to manage change
Work ethic reflecting a commitment to excellence in teaching
Enthusiastic to develop innovative learning experiences
A collaborative team player
Actively support the College's Christian ethos
Regularly practicing member of a Christian church
The successful candidate will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check in accordance with Child Protection legislation
