Key responsibilities
Assess clients and develop individualised, evidence-based exercise programs
Deliver one-on-one and group exercise sessions
Help clients achieve functional, rehabilitation, health and fitness goals
Work closely with Physiotherapists and other allied health professionals
Build positive, long‐term relationships with clients and referrers
Contribute to the continued growth and development of our Exercise Physiology services
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
A degree in Exercise Physiology
ESSA accreditation or eligibility for accreditation




A genuine interest in helping people improve their health, function and quality of life
Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
The ability to work independently while enjoying being part of a multidisciplinary team
Good organisational skills and a positive, professional approach

Physioshop and Physio and Fitness are well‐established, locally owned allied health clinics servicing the Gladstone and Boyne Island communities.
Our multidisciplinary team includes Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Remedial Massage Therapists and Clinical Pilates instructors. We work closely together to provide practical, evidence‐based and individualised care.
Our Exercise Physiology services include chronic disease management, musculoskeletal and injury rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, exercise and movement assessments, individual gym‐based programs, group exercise and rehabilitation, NDIS and other funded clients.
Both clinics have well‐equipped rehabilitation and gym facilities, allowing you to work with clients from early‐stage rehabilitation through to independent exercise, strength and conditioning.
