Riviera Farms Pty Ltd is looking for a team leader to manage our harvest and processing crews of up to 7 workers. This would be a full time position of 38hrs per week with in the Horticultural Award Level 3 (for more information on pay and conditions please refer to the Horticultural Award **** and the National Employment Standard) We are looking for potentially 4 team leaders commencing in January **** for 4 years ending in January **** in locations in Bundaberg QLD

Responsibilities
n
n
Crew Supervision in the field
n
Drive workers from one location to another
n
Liaising with Managers and Welfare Coordinators
n
Picking various horticulture products
n
Crop planting and maintenance
n
Weeding and irrigation
n
Packing products in the packing shed
n




General farm duties as required by farm management
n
Ensure workers are complying with the OHS and quality Management Systems requirements
n
n
Selection Criteria
n
n
Hold a current Drivers License
n
Be willing to obtain a High Risk Fork Lift License
n
Can follow instruction, give instruction and apply new processes quickly
n
Ability to manage staff in a team environment with a wide variety of cultural and ethnical backgrounds
n
Demonstrate good communication skills and complete time sheet calculation
n
Solid work ethic and punctual
n
Ability to work in weather conditions and stand for long periods of time
n
Manual Handling will be required
