This successful engineering Co in the Thomastown area that manufactures for Defence, Aerospace and other high end industries is looking for Maintenance Fitter to join there successful Engineering business.
n
This well-established company has strong stable history in high end and high precision manufacturing, they have the latest CNC machines and now need a maintenance fitter or service technician that will maintain their CNC machines and the plant.
n
Based on-site in the Thomastown area, this is a new position that will involve various tasks. such as Preventative Maintenance, breakdowns and Troubleshooting and Problem Solving. It is necessary to be flexible and have the skills to handle a must repair now and manage the service of the machines.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your key responsibilities will include be keeping the CNC machines maintained including servicing.

This is a high end workshop that is the envy of allot of machine shops and they offer all staff a clean and up-to-date environment and excellent wages.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

Relevant trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting
n
CNC Machining knowledge would be desirable
n
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
n
High attention to detail
n
Be versatile to undertake various task in a day
n
Defence industry clearances and medicals required
n
n
