FIELD SERVICE COORDINATOR – CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT

is currently recruiting for a newly created
Field Service Coordinator
position within
Construction Equipment
, based in
Dandenong, Victoria
.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced
Service Coordinator, Service Advisor, Scheduler, Service Administrator or Workshop Coordinator
who understands the demands of the earthmoving and construction equipment industry.
You will play a key role in coordinating the field service operation, ensuring technicians are efficiently scheduled and customers receive a high level of service and communication.
The Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and scheduling
field service technicians
Managing daily technician workloads, priorities and job allocation
Liaising directly with customers regarding service requirements
Raising and managing work orders
Monitoring WIP, job progress and invoicing
Coordinating breakdowns, scheduled servicing and repairs
Working closely with technicians, parts and workshop teams
Ensuring technicians have the required parts, information and resources
Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
Assisting with warranty and service administration
Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
Ensuring field service activities are completed efficiently and professionally




What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who has
strong organisational and communication skills
and ideally understands the construction equipment workplace.
Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:
Earthmoving / Construction Equipment
Heavy Vehicle
Agricultural Equipment
Mining Equipment
Equipment Hire
Field Service Coordination
Service Scheduling or Planning
You don't necessarily need to be a qualified mechanic —
strong service coordination experience and an understanding of technical environments are equally important.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join an established
Construction Equipment dealership
in Dandenong, working alongside an experienced service and technical team and supporting customers across the Victorian market.
You will be a central point of contact between
customers, technicians, parts and management
, making this a critical position within the service operation.
