Disability Support Worker (Complex Care)

Work Type: Casual / Ongoing Shifts/ Regular Shift Patterns

Pay Rate: $*****/hour

Make a real difference in our clients life while keeping the flexibility to live your own. This role offers monthly rosters based on your availability, along with a structured onboarding program, buddy shifts and paid training so you feel supported from day one - plus hands‐on clinical experience support a our female client, who is living at home with an Acquired Brain Injury in a home setting for 2:1 care.

Must be available for:

Mondays 7.30am - 3pm
n
Fridays 8am - 8pm
n

The Role: Disability Support Worker
n
n
Personal care and hygiene
n
Pressure area care and management
n
Manual Handling (hoist)
n
Medication administration
n
Full supervision of the client
n
Domestic assistance
n




Continuous clinical assessment of client
n
Support the client with activities at home and out in the community
n
n
What You'll Bring
n

Previous Acquired Brain Injury experience
n
Manual handling experience (essential)
n
Current accredited First aid and CPR
n
NDIS Screening Clearance
n
Manual handling certificate (or willing to obtain)
n
Medication certificate (or willing to obtain)
n
Right to live and work within Australia
n
Valid Australian Driver's License
n
