About The Role
n
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and hands-on team member to join our busy events team. This is a physical and diverse role, working across the delivery, setup, pack-down and maintenance of event equipment.
n
n
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some weekend work required during busy periods and when needed by the business.
n
Work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where no two days are the same.
n
Work as part of a friendly and supportive team within the events industry.
n
Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring all required equipment is accounted for and secured.
n
Deliver and collect hired equipment from private clients, businesses, venues and event sites.
n
Assist with the installation and dismantling of marquees, including walls, flooring, lighting, furniture and other event infrastructure.
n
Clean, inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is presented in excellent condition and ready for its next hire.

Assist with general warehouse duties, including organising, storing and preparing equipment for upcoming jobs.
n
Carry out basic maintenance and report any damaged or faulty equipment to management.
n
Work safely at all times, following company procedures and taking care when handling heavy equipment.
n
Provide professional, friendly and courteous service when interacting with clients, venues, suppliers and members of the public.
n
Represent the business in a positive and professional manner while working on-site.
n
Be willing to work flexible hours, including early starts, late finishes and weekends depending on event schedules.
n
Take pride in completing work to a high standard and contributing to the successful delivery of each event.
n

Skills & Experience
n
n
Previous experience in a hands-on, physical or labour-intensive role is highly regarded.
n
Experience in the events, hire, construction, warehouse, logistics or similar industries is advantageous but not essential.
n
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work well with others in a busy setting.
n
Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in completing work to a high standard.
n
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
n
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and adaptable when things don't go to plan.
n
Physically fit and capable of lifting,



carrying and moving event equipment safely.
n
Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
n
Practical and hands-on approach, with the ability to learn how to use tools and equipment.
n
Reliable, punctual and willing to go the extra mile to help the team and get the job done.
n
A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
n

Requirements
n
n
Current Manual Australian driver's licence.
n
Current MR or HR driver's licence is highly regarded.
n
Ability to drive company vehicles and safely transport equipment as required.
n
Ability to safely lift, carry, load and unload heavy equipment.
n
Willingness to work early mornings, late finishes and occasional weekends when required by event schedules.
n
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and in a variety of weather conditions.
n
Good understanding of workplace health and safety and a commitment to following safe work practices.
n
Ability to work at heights where required for marquee and event installations.
n
Must be dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
n
A willingness to learn and take direction is essential.
n
Forklift licence or relevant tickets are advantageous but not essential.
n
Previous experience with marquees, event equipment, furniture hire or event setups is highly regarded.
