We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Supervisor – Supported Employment to join our Business Services team.
n
This is a permanent part-time position working 30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday.
n
This position is a designated female role. Applications are therefore sought from female applicants in accordance with the applicable requirements relating to this position.

This is a rewarding, hands-on role where you will work directly alongside supported employees, providing guidance, encouragement and workplace supervision while assisting them to develop vocational skills, independence and confidence.

About the Role
n
As Supervisor – Supported Employment, you will work alongside supported employees to provide practical supervision, guidance and encouragement within a safe and inclusive workplace.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Providing day-to-day workplace supervision, coaching and support to supported employees.
n
Assisting supported employees to develop vocational, employment and life skills.
n
Allocating appropriate work tasks and monitoring work quality and productivity.
n
Encouraging independence, confidence and achievement of individual employment goals.
n
Promoting positive workplace participation,



teamwork and social interaction.
n
Supporting employees to undertake their duties safely and effectively within their individual capabilities.
n
Ensuring activities are undertaken in accordance with organisational policies, WHS requirements and individual participant support needs.
n

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is practical, supportive and people-focused, with the ability to balance the needs of supported employees with the day-to-day requirements of a busy workplace.

The successful applicant will ideally demonstrate:
n

Experience within disability services, community services, supported employment, maintenance services or a related environment.
n
A genuine commitment to supporting people with disability to achieve their individual goals and reach their potential.
n
Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
n
The ability to coach, mentor, encourage and motivate people within a workplace environment.
n
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
n
The ability to work collaboratively while also using initiative and working independently when required.

A commitment to person-centred practice, inclusion, dignity, choice and workplace safety.

Required Qualifications and Certifications
n
n
Current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence.
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
n
Current Working with Children Check.
n
Current First Aid Certificate.
n
Current CPR Certificate.
n
n
