About the position:
n
To construct and/or maintain Council's road networkand other assets to required service level standards through the provision ofskilled Plant operations and Labourer support. This position will operate arange of plant such as Grader, Roller, Excavator, Loader, Backhoe, Skidsteerand undertake general labouring duties.

Stream B, Level 6-8 -$68,****** to $72,****** per annum
n
Maranoa locality allowance $***** per fortnight
n
Work a 9-day fortnight with a Rostered Day Off.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Operate graders and other plant to construct and maintain Council's road network.
n
Carry out final trim operations, including laser-guided grading where required.
n
Maintain roads, table drains, guides and roadside furniture to required standards.
n
Safely operate, service and maintain Council plant, equipment and machinery.
n
Complete plant maintenance, operational records and documentation in line with Council requirements.
n
Provide skilled plant operation for road repairs, renewals and upgrades.
n
Undertake general labouring, worksite preparation and clean-up duties.
n
Assist with traffic control signage and worksite setup.
n
Work collaboratively with Council teams to meet service level requirements.
n
