Advent Security is seeking reliable and professional Security Officers to join our team at a busy shopping centre in Dubbo.

The successful applicants will provide a visible security presence, assist customers and tenants, respond to incidents, and help maintain a secure and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the centre and surrounding areas
n
Respond to alarms and incidents
n
Assist customers, tenants and centre management
n
Manage antisocial behaviour and de-escalate situations professionally
n
Respond to emergencies and liaise with police and emergency services when required
n
Complete clear and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
n
Monitor contractors, deliveries and access to restricted areas
n
Maintain a professional and approachable presence at all times
n
n
Essential Requirements
n




n
Current NSW Security Licence
n
Current First Aid.
n
Strong communication and customer service skills
n
Confidence dealing with conflict and difficult situations
n
Positive written English and report-writing skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekdays, weekends and public holidays
n
Full Australian working rights
n
n
Previous shopping centre, retail or customer-facing security experience will be highly regarded.
