McKinnon Hill Medical Centre – McKinnon VIC
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised
Medical Receptionist
to join our established GP practices in
McKinnon and Sandringham
.
Casual and part-time opportunities are available, with
ongoing regular hours
and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts across both clinics.
Our clinics operate Monday to Friday, with rostered shifts between
7:30 am and 8:00 pm. No weekend roster.
Pay:
Pay rates vary depending on employment type, experience and classification, plus superannuation.
Medical reception experience is highly regarded; however,
we are happy to train the right person
who has strong customer service skills, confidence with computers and the right attitude.
Key responsibilities
Greeting and checking in patients
Answering phone enquiries
Managing appointments
Processing payments and Medicare-related administration




Managing correspondence and patient information
Supporting doctors, nurses and the wider practice team
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
Friendly, professional and patient-focused
Reliable and punctual
Organised with valuable attention to detail
Confident using computers
Calm and capable in a busy environment
A strong communicator
Comfortable working as part of a team
Willing to learn and take initiative
Medical reception or GP practice experience is highly regarded, and
Best Practice experience is an advantage
, but neither is essential for the right candidate.
Availability
This is an
ongoing position
, however
strong availability from October through December is essential
, including the Christmas/New Year period when rostered.
