About the opportunity
n
This role will see you:
n
n
lead and evolve AWA's specialist technical networks and communities of practice
n
build engagement and participation across members, volunteers, technical experts and partners
n
work closely with volunteer chairs and committees to enable effective network leadership
n
capture knowledge and insights emerging from networks, events and technical collaboration
n
translate complex technical expertise into practical resources, sector insights and strategic intelligence
n
identify emerging water-sector trends, challenges and innovations
n
connect technical expertise with AWA's advocacy, policy, capability and member-value agenda
n
support partnerships and collaboration across industry, government, research and adjacent sectors
n
provide technical/subject-matter into shaping conferences, webinars, member circles and capability programs
n
connect networks with broader organisational programs
n
evaluate network effectiveness,



engagement and impact and continuously improve the model.

About you
n
You're a natural connector and relationship builder with experience working with
technical/qualified
audiences.
n
Your experience includes professional networks, committees, working groups or communities of practice and translating specialist expertise into organisational or sector outcomes.
n
You have experience working in the water, sustainability, circular economy or infrastructure sectors and an ability to understand technical subject matter without necessarily being a deep technical expert.
n
