Vibe College is looking for an experienced and passionate Hairdressing Trainer and Assessor to join our student-focused team in Brisbane.

You'll deliver practical and theory-based training across:

SHB***** Certificate III in Hairdressing
n
SHB***** Diploma of Salon Management
n

About the role
n
Part-Time | Monday–Thursday | 9:00am–4:00pm | Spring Hill
n
You will:
n
n
Deliver face-to-face practical and theory training
n
Assess students in accordance with the relevant SHB training package
n
Support students with different learning styles and backgrounds
n
Share current industry knowledge, techniques and qualified standards
n
Provide feedback and mentoring to help students develop their skills
n
Support the student salon,



including client appointments and phone enquiries
n
Strong customer service delivery
n
Complete required training, assessment and administrative documentation
n
Maintain industry currency and professional development
n
n
About you
n
We're looking for someone who combines strong industry experience with a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring.
n
You will have:
n
n
Certificate III in Hairdressing and Barbering
n
Diploma of Salon Management
n
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent, as applicable
n
Current industry knowledge and experience of industry currency
n
A Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
n
Strong communication and organisational skills
n
A professional, approachable and student-focused attitude
n
