Qualified Gardener | Prestigious CBD Sites | $35+ per hour + Commuter Vehicle

OnSite Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client for an enviable opportunity for an experienced Qualified Gardener to work across some of Melbourne CBD's most high-profile and prestigious sites, including entertainment, art and sporting venues.

The Role
n
You will be responsible for the day-to-day horticultural presentation and maintenance of prestigious CBD sites, supported by an offsider who will work alongside you.
n
Duties will include:
n
n
Weeding, pruning and mulching
n
Hedging and general garden maintenance
n
Planting and garden rejuvenation
n
Chemical spraying and weed control
n
General horticultural duties
n
Maintaining gardens and landscaped areas to a high standard
n
Liaising professionally with clients, visitors and members of the public
n
Supervising and working alongside your offsider
n
n
About You
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Certificate III in Horticulture – essential
n
Current ChemCert – essential
n




Previous experience in a similar
gardening/horticultural
role
n
Excellent communication and presentation skills
n
The ability to confidently liaise with clients and members of the public
n
A professional, well-spoken and approachable manner
n
Strong horticultural knowledge and attention to detail
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
n
Pride in maintaining high-profile sites to an exceptional standard
n
n
