This is a fixed-term position for the **** school year, with the solid possibility of continuing in ****. Applicants are asked to state their experience and/or qualifications in the Performing Arts area/s of Drama, Dance or Music. The Performing Arts subject/s covered in **** will depend on the skillset, qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.

Selection Criteria
n
We are seeking a suitably experienced, qualified, professional,



committed, positive, "Christ centred, child focused" Catholic educator who has the necessary knowledge, skills, ability and desire, along with;
n
n
Qualifications and/or experience in teaching the Performing Arts area/s of Drama, Dance and/or Music
n
Have a sound understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and current educational theories/practices in the area/s of Drama, Dance and/or Music
n
Demonstrate the ability to use assessment effectively and differentiate the teaching and learning program to cater for a variety of student needs
n
Be an enthusiastic and highly capable teacher able to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a team
n
Have sound ICT skills and the ability to integrate technology into the curriculum to enhance learning
n
Be an organised staff member who shows initiative, flexibility and displays a positive outlook
n
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Demonstrate the capacity and enthusiasm to build community in collaboration with staff, parents and students.
n
Be a reflective practitioner, open to feedback and professional growth
n
Experience in leading school choir and/or liturgical dance would be advantageous
n
n
Qualifications Required
n
A relevant four year tertiary qualification
n
n
Hold or willing to attain relevant Accreditations required to teach in a Catholic school
n
n
