Job Description
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of construction activities on site. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Contracts Administrator and Construction Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, to a high standard and in accordance with the construction program.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries to meet construction programs.
n
Manage day-to-day site activities and effectively coordinate trades.
n
Work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, WHS Manager and subcontractors.
n
Supervise direct labour and provide hands-on leadership on site.
n
Monitor and implement WHS policies, procedures and site requirements.
n
Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, quality requirements and relevant legislation.
n
Identify and resolve site issues efficiently.
n
Complete and maintain all required site-based documentation, records and reports.
n
Assist with planning, sequencing and programming of works.

About you
n
n




Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial construction, preferably in a Foreman or supervisory role.
n
Relevant Trade Certificate and Site Supervisor Licence.
n
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
n
Effective negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
n
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
n
The ability to effectively coordinate trades and maintain project timeframes.
n
High-level computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
n
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety and quality outcomes.
