Cleveland Tavern is undergoing a major transformation, bringing back the spirit of the much-loved Dicey Reilly's and relaunching as Dicey's Pub - a warm, character-filled Irish-inspired local built around great food, great people and proper pub hospitality.
n
Think hearty Irish favourites, pub classics, perfectly poured Guinness, live music, big games on the screens and a beer garden made for long afternoons.

What you'll be taking on
n
The renovation will transform the venue from the inside out, including a refreshed Sports Bar & Terrace, Bistro & Beer Garden and Gaming Room, alongside significant improvements to the external areas and overall guest experience.
n
The vision for Dicey's is easy: a proper local with personality.

A place for Friday knock-offs, family dinners, live music, big sporting moments and catching up over a pint. Somewhere locals know the team, the team knows the locals, and everyone feels welcome.

As Venue Manager, you'll be at the centre of making that happen.

About you
n
We're looking for an experienced Venue Manager who understands that running a great pub is about much more than numbers.
n
You'll know your P&L;, labour and stock - but you'll also know your regulars, be visible during a packed Friday night and understand how to build a team people genuinely want to be part of.
n
You'll bring:
n
n
Strong experience as a Venue Manager or in a senior hospitality leadership role
n
Proven experience managing a large, food and beverage-focused venue
n
Strong commercial capability across P&L;, labour, rostering, stock control and revenue
n
A hands-on leadership style and strong presence on the floor during peak trade
n
Experience recruiting, coaching and developing high-performing teams
n
Strong understanding of local markets, competitors and hospitality trends
n
The ability to identify and execute initiatives that drive revenue and repeat trade
n
Confidence delivering events, promotions and entertainment
n
Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work closely with Operations and Head Office teams
n
Experience managing compliance within a busy licensed venue
n
n
RMLV, Approved Manager Licence, Gaming Nominee and CLO requirements apply.
