About the Role
n
Taminda Hydraulics & Engineering is seeking a motivated and experienced Machinery Salesperson to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of Takeuchi excavators, track loaders and related attachments.
n
This role would suit someone with previous machinery sales experience or a strong background in earthmoving, agricultural, construction or heavy equipment. Applicants must be familiar with machinery and confident discussing machine features, applications and attachments with customers.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Promote and sell Takeuchi machinery and attachments.
n
Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers.
n
Assist customers in selecting the right machine and attachments for their needs.
n
Prepare quotes and follow up sales enquiries.
n
Conduct machine demonstrations and explain key features.
n
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Takeuchi products.
n
Follow up leads and identify new sales opportunities.
n
Attend field days, trade shows and promotional events when required.
n
Keep accurate customer and sales records.
n
Work closely with our parts,



service and management teams.
n
Provide professional after-sales support and maintain customer relationships.
n

Skills and Experience
n
n
Previous machinery or equipment sales experience is preferred.
n
Must be familiar with earthmoving, construction, agricultural or similar machinery.
n
Strong communication and customer service skills.
n
Confident and professional sales approach.
n
Ability to build long-term customer relationships.
n
Good organisational and time-management skills.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Basic computer and administration skills.
n
Current Australian driver's licence.
n
