Rutherford Electrical Engineering Services (REES) High Voltage Division has grown to be the preferred supplier to many customers in the Hunter and surrounding areas requiring specialist work in the fields of High Voltage electrical installation and maintenance, Cable Fault locations and jointing, High Voltage testing, Protection system testing and upgrades, borehole cable and high wall cable installations.

We are currently in search ofElectrical Protection Technical Officerto join our team.
n
You may be responsible for:
n
Electrical Protection System testing, programming, and upgrading. High Voltage Maintenance planning and testing andproviding technical support to field technicians and customers. Consulting with OEM's, customers and other technical experts while responding and assisting to breakdowns.

To be successful in this role we are looking for you to have:
n
n
A great attitude with attention to detail
n
Experience in testing of protection systems, control systems and High Voltage systems.
n
Demonstrated experience in technical problem solving.
n
A high standard of safety and quality
n
n
Highly regarded but not essential:
n
n
Experience with test equipment and software
n
Qualified Electrical Supervisors licence
n
Experience in the mining/heavy industry
n
Familiar with CAD software and circuit design/ modification
n
Training and Assessment qualification
n
