Who are we looking for?

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced
Senior Engineer / Technical Director Dams
to join our growing Dams team based in
Townsville
.
n
This role offers the opportunity to further develop your technical and leadership capabilities while working with one of Australia's most respected dams engineering teams. You will contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects spanning water supply, tailings, hydropower and dam safety, working alongside recognised industry specialists across Australia and internationally.
n

Working with an energetic and high performing team, you will:
n
n
Deliver and manage technical work across a broad range of dams projects, including water dams and tailings storage facilities.
n
Apply your expertise in geotechnical engineering, structural engineering and/or design management to project delivery.
n
Contribute to the planning, assessment, design and construction phases of dams projects across Northern Australia and beyond.
n




Develop trusted client relationships and support business development opportunities.
n
Prepare proposals, technical reports, designs and engineering assessments.
n
Mentor and support the development of junior engineers and emerging professionals.
n
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.

What you will bring to the team:
n
n
Significant experience in dams engineering, typically gained over 7 or more years.
n
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or related discipline.
n
RPEQ status, Chartered Engineer status, equivalent professional accreditation, or demonstrated progress toward obtaining professional registration.
n
Experience in the design and assessment of a range of dam types, including embankment and concrete dams.
n
Knowledge of dam safety, risk assessments, spillway design, outlet works, intake structures, hydropower facilities and/or construction phase services.
n
Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and project teams.
