Electrical Switchboard Assemblers
to join our clients manufacturing team in Heathwood.
You will be involved in the assembly of switchboards & control panels.
This role suits tradespeople or experienced trade assistants who are hands-on, detail-focused, and experienced in control wiring and the assembly of wiring harnesses within a switchboard manufacturing environment.
The Role
We are seeking
Electrical Switchboard Assemblers
to join our clients manufacturing team in Heathwood.
You will be involved in the assembly of switchboards & control panels.
This role suits tradespeople or experienced trade assistants who are hands-on, detail-focused, and experienced in control wiring and the assembly of wiring harnesses within a switchboard manufacturing environment.
The Role
Assemble electrical wiring harnesses
Build electrical component panels
Terminate cabling to drawing and specification
Read and interpret wiring diagrams
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain WH&S; standards at all times
Experience required:
Switchboard assembly in a manufacturing or workshop environment




Minimum 1-2 years of switchboard assembly experience in a professional manufacturing or workshop environment
Assembly of wiring harnesses, installation, and component mounting
Control wiring and meter panel wiring
Modular and welded switchboard construction
Interpreting electrical schematics, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams
Working to Australian Standards and best manufacturing practices
You will also bring:
A robust focus on quality, neat workmanship, and right-first-time builds
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
High safety awareness and disciplined work habits
A practical, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and improve
Completed electrical trade qualification is preferred but not essential for this role.
