The Opportunity
n
As a Senior Consultant within our Business Services team, you'll support a portfolio of clients and contribute to the delivery of accounting, taxation, compliance and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, family groups and emerging businesses.
n
You'll work closely with Managers, Directors and Partners — delivering accurate, high-quality compliance work, building foundational client relationships, and progressively taking on greater responsibility across advisory matters. This is a genuine opportunity to develop technically, gain exposure to complex client work, and start mentoring the next generation of accountants, all within a firm that's investing seriously in your growth.

Key Responsibilities

Build robust client relationships by delivering high-quality work and responsive service across a broad portfolio of clients
n
Work collaboratively with Managers and Partners across client engagements and advisory matters
n
Support the delivery of tax advice across areas including corporate tax, capital gains tax, Division 7A and trust taxation
n




Gain exposure to complex client matters and the full lifecycle of client engagements
n
n
Technical & Commercial
n
n
Prepare income tax returns, reconciliations and activity statements for a range of entities including companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
n
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related compliance obligations
n
Ensure technical accuracy and adherence to relevant standards and legislation in all deliverables
n
n
Development

Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment
n
Take on increasing responsibility for reviewing and guiding the work of junior team members as experience develops
n
Actively participate in structured professional development and mentoring from senior leaders
n

About You
n
n
CA studies commenced, or planning to commence (or equivalent professional qualification)
n
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
n
Experience preparing tax compliance work for a range of entity types
n
Exposure to business and high-net-worth client groups
n
A sound understanding of key taxation concepts including corporate tax, CGT, Division 7A and trust taxation
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
n
A genuine commitment to ongoing professional development
