Job Description
We are seeking experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians to join our site-based commissioning team. Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will install, test, commission and troubleshoot E&I; systems on gas well heads and processing facilities.

Key responsibilities
n
Installing, testing and commissioning electrical and instrumentation equipment
n
Calibrating and testing field instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow and level)
n
Testing and troubleshooting motors, switchgear, control panels and LV/HV distribution systems
n
Interpreting P&IDs;, loop diagrams and wiring schematics
n
Completing test records and commissioning documentation to a high standard
n
Working within permit-to-work systems, risk assessments and hazardous area requirements
n
Fault finding, root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions
n
About you
n
Trade qualification in Electrical and/or Instrumentation
n
Current Queensland Electrical Licence
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in oil and gas,



petrochemical or heavy industrial environments, with site commissioning experience
n
Robust knowledge of LV/HV systems, instrumentation calibration and intrinsically safe systems
n
Experience with PLC, SCADA and DCS systems preferred
n
Experience with completions or CMMS systems highly regarded
n
Strong safety focus, attention to detail and clear communication
n
Current driver's licence; able to pass pre-employment medical and fitness assessments
n
