DisruptX is a Sydney-based content agency specialising in short-form social content for restaurants, brands and growing businesses.
We're built by founders who have grown e-commerce brands, built large social audiences themselves, and understand what actually makes people stop scrolling.
We're growing our team of creators and looking for someone who genuinely lives and breathes TikTok, Instagram Reels and short-form content.
What you'll actually be doing
This isn't a desk job.
You'll travel to client locations across Sydney to shoot short-form content using your phone.
Our team handles the strategy and scripting. Your role is to take those ideas and bring them to life on camera.
Depending on the project, you'll be creating:
Storytelling-style TikToks and Reels
Face-to-camera videos
Food and restaurant content
Trend-led concepts
Fast-paced, engaging short-form content
Behind-the-scenes and event content
You'll also organise your footage after shoots and, depending on the project, may assist with editing.
Who we're looking for
You don't need years of agency experience.
You
do
need to understand what good social content looks like.
You should have:




A strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram Reels
Confidence filming high-quality content on a phone
A good eye for framing, lighting and angles
An understanding of hooks, pacing and storytelling
Confidence directing people on camera
Strong organisation and reliability
A car and valid driver's licence
The ability to work independently at client locations
Editing experience is highly regarded.
Most importantly, we want someone who is creative, switched on and genuinely interested in getting better at content.

Rate: $35-$45 per hour depending on experience
