HVAC Technician | Get Trained in BMS & Controls
Want to add BMS & controls to your HVAC skillset?
We're recruiting HVAC Service Technicians in Brisbane for a specialist HVAC business that's doing things a little differently.
You'll still be an HVAC tech on the tools - servicing, maintaining and fault finding - but you'll also get genuine exposure and training across BMS, controls and remote diagnostics.
You don't need to already be a controls technician.
That's the prospect.
More than another HVAC service role
The business designs and manufactures its own modular HVAC equipment, incorporating HVAC, BMS and controls into the complete system.
Because they manufacture their own equipment, their technicians aren't simply sent out to maintain someone else's kit.
You'll learn how the complete system works.
That means developing experience across:
Commercial HVAC service & fault finding
BMS & controls
Remote diagnostics
VRV/VRF systems
Packaged HVAC equipment
Specialist modular systems
You'll receive training on their BMS and controls platform, with further technical training supported as you develop.
If you've wanted to move towards controls but keep finding that BMS companies want you to already have controls experience, this is a chance to start building it while keeping your HVAC background.

Where can it take you?
This is probably the biggest selling point.
You don't have to know exactly what you want to do in five years.
You might want to become a stronger HVAC fault-finding technician.
You might want to develop further into BMS and controls.
Or you might eventually want to move towards supervision and service management.
The business is growing its service operation, and there are opportunities for good technicians to develop with it rather than having to leave to take the next step.
What we're looking for
We're looking for qualified HVAC technicians with good commercial service experience.
You should be comfortable with service, maintenance and fault finding, but previous BMS or controls experience isn't essential.
We're more interested in someone who's technically curious, wants to learn and is looking for more than simply moving companies to do exactly the same job somewhere else.
If you already have some controls exposure, even better.
