Our Albion restaurant is looking for an experienced and motivated Team/Shift Leader to join our team.
n
This is a casual leadership position, to begin with, for someone who is ready to move beyond simply running shifts and take genuine ownership of the FOH operation.
n
We're looking for someone who understands that great hospitality is about more than getting through service. It's about leading people, creating exceptional guest experiences, driving sales and helping build a team that wants to come to work and be successful.

The Role
n
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
n
You'll be expected to:
n
Help lead our FOH team.
n
Run organised, efficient and high-performing shifts.
n
Deliver consistently excellent guest experiences.
n
Drive sales through service, engagement and effective upselling.
n
Lead by example and set the standard for the team.
n
Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service.
n
Assist with training and development of new and existing team members.
n
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.
n
Support the Restaurant Manager with the overall operation of the venue.
n
Take ownership and responsibility when the Restaurant Manager isn't on site.
n
The Person
n
We're looking for someone with energy, maturity,



accountability and a genuine passion for hospitality.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
Previous experience in a FOH supervisory or management role.
n
Solid leadership and communication skills.
n
Experience working in a busy hospitality environment.
n
The confidence to lead a team through busy services.
n
A strong understanding of guest experience and service standards.
n
A commercial mindset tapered with delivering great customer service.
n
The ability to lead people.
n
Excellent attention to detail.
n
A positive attitude and the ability to bring energy to the team.
n
Most importantly, you need to be someone who takes ownership.
n
We want a leader who sees something that needs fixing and fixes it.
n
Someone who notices when standards are slipping and acts.
n
Someone who celebrates the team's successes and isn't afraid to have the difficult conversations when they're needed.
