Public Sector People are partnering with a Not-for-Profit Community Housing Provider seeking a dedicated Property Coordinator to join their team on a full time, permanent basis, based in East Perth.
This role is ideal for someone with experience across property, maintenance coordination or property administration who enjoys being the person who keeps things moving, managing maintenance requests, coordinating contractors, processing work orders and invoices, and providing a high level of service to residents.
You will play an significant role in coordinating the end-to-end maintenance process, ensuring requests are followed up, contractors are engaged and payments are processed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end routine and cyclical maintenance requests
Respond to tenant, contractor, supplier and internal queries relating to property maintenance
Troubleshoot maintenance queries and provide clear, practical support over the phone
Raise and process work orders and purchase orders within delegation
Coordinate contractors and follow up outstanding maintenance requests
Process invoices accurately and ensure contractor payments are completed in a timely manner
Coordinate scheduled and cyclical maintenance requirements
Maintain accurate property data, records and reporting across relevant systems and spreadsheets




Process utility accounts and relevant rebates where required
Manage competing priorities and respond calmly to urgent or unexpected maintenance matters
Work closely with Property Officers, Housing Officers, contractors and other internal stakeholders
About You
Experience in property coordination, property administration, maintenance coordination or a transferable environment
Experience working with maintenance scheduling, work orders, purchase orders and invoices
Confident and professional phone manner, with the ability to troubleshoot queries and have challenging conversations when required
Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage high volumes of work without compromising service
Strong communication and relationship management skills
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Comfortable working with tenants and people experiencing housing stress or other vulnerabilities
Resilient & solutions focused and able to remain calm when managing competing priorities or urgent issues
This is a full time, Monday to Friday role, working
8.00am–4.00pm
, with the opportunity to work from home up to two days per week subject to approval following probation.
