Dental Assistant

. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental practitioners in providing high-quality dental services. This position is fundamental to the smooth operation of our practice and directly contributes to ensuring our patients have a positive dental experience.
What you'll be doing
Assisting dental practitioners during patient treatments and procedures
Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols
Greeting patients, maintaining patient records and managing appointment scheduling
Taking radiographs (X-rays) as required and assisting with patient imaging
Providing chairside support during restorative, preventive and general dental procedures
Preparing treatment areas and ensuring all materials and equipment are readily available
Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe dental environment
Assisting with reception duties and administrative tasks as needed
Contributing to infection control and health and safety standards within the practice
What we're looking for
Understanding of infection control principles and sterilisation procedures
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
